Follow these steps to install the Google Protected View File Downloader extension in your Chrome browser.
Click the download button above to save the ZIP file containing the extension files to your computer.
Locate the downloaded ZIP file on your computer and extract it to a folder. Make sure you remember the folder location, as you will need it in the next step.
In Chrome, go to chrome://extensions/ by typing it into the address bar and pressing Enter.
On the Extensions page, toggle Developer mode on (located in the top right corner).
Click on the Load unpacked button and navigate to the folder where you extracted the ZIP file. Select the folder to install the extension.
Once added, you should see the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar. You can now start using the extension to download protected files!
